Free dental clinic returns to Rhode Island September 29, 2018 by MARIO HILARIO, NBC 10 NEWS For five
years, the Rhode Island Mission of Mercy held a free dental clinic in the Ocean State, offering vital dentistry for those who otherwise would not be able to afford
it. "In some cases, it was maybe the only dental care that they really received so and of course one of our biggest aims is to keep these people out of the
emergency room," said Dr. Jeffrey Dodge of the RI Oral Health Foundation, which holds the clinic. However, last year the Foundation found itself in its own
emergency when CCRI told the organization it could no longer host the clinic at the school's dental facilities at its Lincoln Campus. READ MORE
